Shadoz 2019 to be Held on Sunday October 20th at The Knox Club

Hi to all our fellow Shadows/Instrumental enthusiasts, only a few weeks before Shadoz 2019 tribute to guitar legends, The Shadows and other great Instrumental bands (The Ventures, Duane Eddy, Spotnicks etc).

This year’s Shadoz is a tribute to Geoff Jermy (a Shadoz originator) who is no longer with us, we are sure that Geoff would appreciate the support from the 9 bands who are performing on the day.

On that note (no pun intended) the response from bands and performers has been outstanding with several new groups coming along. Includes The Bayside Drifters all the way from Geelong and other new groups in The Eddys and Wildcard

Due to circumstances The 5 O’clock Shadows will not be with us, they have been a mainstay group since Shadoz’s inception in 2003-they will be missed. However, Richard Andrews, a band member, will be with us to represent the band

That we support musicians of all ages is shown in having Charlie Gregory (who is 9 years old, with us) Charlie is from from Geelong.  He will play a couple of numbers with the help of The Bayside Drifters.

Bands in alphabetical order:

The Avengers-They’re back with a great song list

The Bayside Drifters-A Shadows tribute band with an impressive record of performances.
